A decade after its release last generation, the open world arcade racer Burnout Paradise may be coming to Switch and other current consoles, according to a recent rumor.

Before being removed, a Brazilian retailer listed ratings classifications for Switch, PS4, and Xbox versions of Burnout Paradise. No dates or other details were available, but this offers a promising sign that one of the series' most popular entries may be coming to Switch.

Burnout Paradise expanded upon the series' insane speed and reckless racing by placing you in an open world. In the streets of Paradise City, every intersection offered a different event, from car crashing Road Rage gauntlets to Stunt Runs to hectic races where shortcuts abound and you could choose your own path to the finish line.
Source 1,2

"Does SHE care?" asked Anne. The moment the question crossed her lips she felt that she should not have asked it. Owen Ford answered it with overeager protest.

Yes, you read that right. It's possible that Crash Bandicoot's awesome remastered trilogy will be coming Nintendo Switch (and PC) later this year and, truthfully, I'm pretty surprised by it.

First brought up on Resetera over the weekend by user Wrestleman, it was noted in the new Licensing Source Book Europe (page 97) by Licensing Manager of GB Eye, Max Arguille, that the game's remaster was a huge success and will be going broader in 2018. Oh, and there could be a new Crash game coming but I have to freak out about that in my own time.

Aside from the fact the Nintendo Switch would be such a perfect platform for Crash Bandicoot to call home, if proven true this'll be the first time in 22 years the original three games will have made their way outside of PlayStation.

I know a handful of other Crash games came out on different platforms, but not the originals.

For me, someone who grew up alongside the PlayStation consoles, this is huge news. Crash Bandicoot was one of Sony's flagship games in the 90s, so by opening its doors to Nintendo after the Switch has been out for less than a year goes to show how much of a success the portable console is.

Back to the game itself I had a blast with N.Sane Trilogy on PlayStation 4, so bringing it to Switch feels like an excellent move. The controls aren't complicated, there won't be too much of a demand on the system, and it probably won't be too big a file either.

Of course, none of this has been officially addressed so we'll have to wait for Activision to confirm/deny it.

What do you guys think about this move? Would you love to have the game on Switch? Or, do you think it should stay a PlayStation exclusive? Sound out in the comments below.

Forza Street will soon be hitting the roads of your mobile phones, and Xbox has announced that you can pre-register for the game. Interestingly, the game will initially only be available to owners of Samsung phones.

It will eventually be in the App Store for iPhone users but will be starting out on Android first. The reason for Samsung's exclusivity is because Xbox has partnered up with the mobile giant to make this happen.

Forza Street itself will feature several cars to choose from, including legendary muscle rides and modern sports cars among others. You can collect cars as you play which will allow you to not only drive them but also display them in your garage.
First come first swerve.Pre-register for Forza Street on Android today: https://t.co/j1iK8Ybck6 pic.twitter.com/hLNxq1We4I— Xbox (@Xbox) February 12, 2020Car collecting looks like it will be the biggest feature in the game. It could also make the experience quite addictive, as you embrace the glories of your shiny new toys.

You can even snatch up some super retro cars to add to your stash of whips. Like cracking open packs of trading cards, this should be a pretty fun aspect of Forza Street.

There will also be some interesting controls that plan to be streamlined. Everything you do on the road will rely on your timing to pull the trigger.

These styles of controls will make room for the cinematic aesthetic of each race, adding to the drama. It sounds like the controls could be limited as well, hence the reason why timing is so critical.

There's no word however on if certain cars give you an advantage or if they're just for looks. It's a good possibility that it's the former but there could be a special approach to the mobile version of Forza.

One of the more important features that will be included is the lengths of the races you can participate in. You can take in the depth of the campaign, or you can just play in one-minute races so this caters to many different types of mobile racers.

As mentioned, you can pre-register for the game. It will be available on Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store and later for the App Store.
Fan of racing games? Well, get your adrenaline going with the top five 2D racing games for iOS and Android.
The mind and sight distractedly commixed."I'm not hankering after the vote, believe ME," said Miss Cornelia scornfully. "_I_ know what it is to clean up after the men. But some of these days, when the men realize they've got the world into a mess they can't get it out of, they'll be glad to give us the vote, and shoulder their troubles over on us. That's THEIR scheme. Oh, it's well that women are patient, believe ME!"
