Niantic has announced the next Pokemon Go Community day will take place on 24th May from 11 am to 5 pm local time. This follows the Abra Community Day that took place at the start of last month. This time around it will focus on the grass Pokemon Seedot.

During this event, you will unsurprisingly encounter more Seedot in the wild than usual. There will also be a chance that you'll run into a Shiny version of the Acorn Pokemon, which means you'll eventually be able to get a fetching burgundy coloured Shiftry. Beyond that, if you evolve a Nuzleaf during the event, or less than two hours after, that Shiftry will know Bullet Seed.

As with the Abra Community day, players will also be able to purchase a Special Research story called Seeing Double for $1 or your local equivalent. This will see players assisting Professor Willow in learning more about Seedot and its evolutions Nuzleaf and Shiftry. Completing this quest will net players three Incense, five Golden Razz Berries and more.

During the event, there will also be a few bonuses too. Players will receive 3x the usual catch experience whilst Incense activated during the event will last for 3 hours. Finally, a Buddy Pokemon that has reached the level of Great Buddy or higher will regularly fetch items such as Poke Balls throughout the day.

There will also be a one-time-purchase May Community Day bundle available from the shop too. This will contain an Elite Fast TM, 30 Ultra Balls, three Incense and three Lucky Eggs. However, there is currently no word on what this will cost but the Abra version was priced at 1,280 PokéCoins, so this will likely be a similar price.

Pokemon Go is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Looking for some tips for the GO Battle League? We've got you covered

Ever get the feeling that those Link amiibo were a bit... naff? Well, toon link was okay but adult Link... Poor adult Link.

Well, some small justice is about to be done as new versions of each of them are set to launch this Christmas, along with an 8-bit Link and toon Zelda.

New adult Link is riffing on his Ocarina, while the new toon Link is showing off his famous conductor's baton.

But 8-bit Link really steals the show here. If you don't have an intense craving to have that amiibo in your hands right now, then you probably have no soul. Sorry.

The original Zelda amiibo was great, and so is the new one. It's nice to see toon Zelda make an appearance though we would have been equally pleased to have seen Tetra.

Anyway, enough of this chatter. You guys want to hear the facts, and those are that the amiibo will have standard functions for each character and will work in the upcoming Wii U (and probably NX) title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Save up those pennies or beg Santa Claus, for all four amiibo are set to launch this Christmas.

Source: Polygon.

Angry Birds Star Wars II has been updated with a bunch of new content that ties in with the new Star Wars: Rebels animated series.

There are 24 new levels set around the current episode, as well as 12 new characters from the series. You can hunt down Jedi, or join the burgeoning rebellion and be cool like Han Solo. Or something.

You also get 16 new 'Master your Destiny" levels, which let you choose your own roster of birds, and require you to think about the best way to smash up all those piggy gits.

The update is live on the Google Play Store [download] and the App Store [download] right now, and it won't cost you a thing to pick it up if you've already bought Angry Birds Star Wars II.
THE WEASELS and the Mice waged a perpetual war with each other, in which much blood was shed. The Weasels were always the victors. The Mice thought that the cause of their frequent defeats was that they had no leaders set apart from the general army to command them, and that they were exposed to dangers from lack of discipline. They therefore chose as leaders Mice that were most renowned for their family descent, strength, and counsel, as well as those most noted for their courage in the fight, so that they might be better marshaled in battle array and formed into troops, regiments, and battalions. When all this was done, and the army disciplined, and the herald Mouse had duly proclaimed war by challenging the Weasels, the newly chosen generals bound their heads with straws, that they might be more conspicuous to all their troops. Scarcely had the battle begun, when a great rout overwhelmed the Mice, who scampered off as fast as they could to their holes. The generals, not being able to get in on account of the ornaments on their heads, were all captured and eaten by the Weasels.
